2009-Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS

Porsche tuner Gemballa takes the Cayenne Turbo to a whole new level. Called Tornado 750 GTS it comes with 750 horsepower(as the name suggests) and a new look. Vehicle weight is reduced by 250 kg (555 lbs).Reduced weight and more power means impressive performance usually and Tornado 750 GTS is no exception. The Porsche Cayenne is among the most common SUVs on UAE roads today. The people who buy them think they are buying exclusivity, but instead they end up having the same goofy-faced truck as their neighbours. So German outfit Gemballa, known for tuning Porsches, have unveiled their latest cure for the common Cayenne, in the form of the Tornado 750 GTS.
The company says that there is only a little connection left between the Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, on which it is based. Traditionally a tuner of sports cars, Gemballa had to face the reality that Porsche is a diluted brand nowadays, and were faced with tuning yet another SUV from the manufacturer that provided the base for most of their track-tuned vehicles. The result: with a top performance of 750 hp at 6400 rpm and a maximum torque of 774 lb-ft at 3200 rpm, the Gemballa engine meets the wishes of its ambitious customers from motor sports and also renders excellent performance values. The 4WD automobile accelerates from zero to 96 mph in only 4.3 seconds and with a maximum velocity approaching 190 mph, the Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS is significantly more powerful than its stock counterpart.
Running gear and wheels for adequate grip and agile handling
The TORNADO was equipped with an adjustable coilover kit which has been especially adjusted to the enormous performance potential. This allows lowering the car by up to three inches and therefore permits a variable adjustment of the setup to every individual driver and scope of use.The multi-part, especially light GT SPORT forged rims are available in 12Jx22 with tires measuring 335/25 Z 22.
The high-performance braking system with the punched and slit XXL discs guarantees optimal deceleration values. In order to provide the perfect gas pedal response, the Gemballa technicians used 6-piston brake calipers at the front axle and 4-piston brake calipers at the rear axle.

Gemballa Avalanche 600 Porsche-2008. The basis of the Avalanche 600 GT EVO is the Porsche 997 turbo or the GT2. GEMBALLA even knows how to boost the already impressive set of performance figures of the production model. 600 bhp (442 kW) put the competition from Maranello and Sant’Agata-Bolognese in a tight spot. The six-cylinder boxer with a torque of 840 Nm – power-boosted by the GEMBALLA power kit - stands out even more.

Luxury Cars : 2008 Porsche GT2

This is Porsche’s new turbo beast. They start with the standard 997 turbo platform, but then rip out the all wheel drive system and other necessary stuff that doesn’t contribute to going fast. It has 530 horsepower and 505 foot pounds of torque that get the car to 100mph in 7.1 seconds. Key thing with this car, is that it only weights 3,175. Because lighter=faster!
In Porsche's laboratory, the relatively luxe 911 Turbo (what with its padded seats and all) is the terry-cloth monkey and the new GT2 -- stripped utterly to its essentials, inhospitable, a harsh mockery of the comforts of the automobile -- is the wire monkey. To love the GT2 is to embrace its malign indifference to your well-being. To cuddle one is to feel the cold bite of steel against your cheek.
Basically a Porsche Motorsport version of the 911 Turbo (or turbocharged version of the track-ready GT3 RS, if you like), the GT2 is the most hard-core 911 ever to wear a license plate and the first production 911 to exceed 200 mph. Because, obviously, the Turbo's 480 hp is too, too paltry for real Porsche men, the boys in Weissach kicked up the output another 50 hp, with highly capacious intake manifolds and titanium exhaust plumbing on either side of the turbochargers. Lift the engine lid and all you see are the car's enormous lungs ducted from air intakes integrated into the dual-foil spoiler, which looks like something Klingons would carry into battle.

The GT2's steroid regime also includes lots of good old hot-rodding. The Turbo's all-wheel-drive system is jettisoned in favor of a lighter and racier rear-wheel transaxle shared with the GT3 RS. Also shared with the GT3 are the phenomenal 15-inch carbon ceramic front disc brakes and fully adjustable suspension inspired by the paint-shaking machine at Home Depot. The GT2's lightweighting program concludes with ditching the rear seats, tossing out all the sound-deadening material, stripping some interior panels to bare carbon fiber and supplanting the front seats with leather-lined carbon shells padded with . . . well, nothing. The resulting car (3,270 pounds) is 225 pounds lighter than the 911 Turbo and is about as cozy as an MRI machine.
Finally I think this car is a luxury car and high performance.

2000 Buick Blackhawk Concept Cars

The Buick Blackhawk is not just any customized car - it is important to emphasize Buick heritage of distinctive design and outstanding performance for the specialized audience that custom / hot rod shows."This is a very special car show," said Michael E. Doble, Buick's special vehicles manager: "It's classic design, combined with contemporary proportions. If you are talking about custom cars, the Blackhawk is the ultimate expression of Buick."
Retractable convertible with styling from the 30s.The Blackhawk is basically a 2-plus-2-cabriolet with a retractable top, and a body that looks like it from the late 1930s oder'40s - because he has done. His face is a classic 1939 Buick grille, a pattern of fine vertical bars, and his big sheet combines the sleek bodies of 1941 and 1948 Buick Road Master.

All of this except the grille has been changed, and the final appearance - with black cherry paint, doors without handles and hidden headlamps - is of a streamlined yet retro head-Turner, looks like it was created specifically for the Woodward Dream Cruise. In a sense it was. Doble was with the creation Buick show and concept cars as well as some specialty production in the last 15 years. Mostly, his Buick concepts have been heading to major auto shows in Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. But the Blackhawk was created to a different need - he perceived when he customs and hot rod shows and caught the enthusiasm of the masses.

"The people involved in the shows are very excited and knowledge about cars," he said. "We felt we needed a custom Buick that for the spectators, but not a Hot Rod. Hot rods tend to have simple bodies, exposed engines, large rear wheels and a lot of chrome. But if you build a custom, it is so, how to redesign a car."The Blackhawk is a highly modified car, pick-up signals Buick design heritage. It is a great figurehead for a variety of events, as we head toward Buick in 2003." To Buick General Manager Roger W. Adams, the Blackhawk creates "a very interesting statement for Buick to make as our Centennial. Buick has always been a strong element of power and distinctive style - and this is a good time to the people that remember that. "
He said that Buick and government leaders have long promoted the brand in the high-end picture and the Buick key attributes such as comfort, convenience and safety. But in the last few years there has been a new emphasis on more expressive Buick. One example is the 1999 Cielo concept, a "no compromise" convertible with roof rails and retractable top. Another approach is the 2000 LaCrosse, described as "drop-dead gorgeous" flagship sedan, the packages Buick styling hints from the past (eg, vertical-bar grille, portholes and side sculpture from the'50s) in a refreshing manner. LaCrosse, incidentally, also on a pickup-type rear cargo area on a single voice command. Still another example is Rendezvous, a production Buick SUV model for the 2002 year, Adams says is more versatile than any other vehicle in its class.

The Blackhawk, while not intended for major auto shows, adds that the new trend with an aggressive take on styling heritage and power. And Doble, said the Blackhawk is "no trailer queen." It is intended to be driven, maybe even custom show custom show across the country. Blackhawk Power: 463 hp V-8, 0-60 in under 5 seconds

The Blackhawk goal is the performance of 0-60 miles per hour in under 5 seconds. The powertrain is a 1970-vintage-455-cubic-inch Buick GS Stage III V-8 engine, detailed and highly appreciates the latest electronically controlled four-speed automatic. The naturally aspirated, overhead valve, fuel-injected engine produces 463 hp at 4600 rpm and 510 lb-ft torque at 4200 rpm.
