Update: 28/05/2008:
The Kia Cee'd has now sold in excess of 200,000 units. The 200,000th unit was a golden Pro-Cee'd for a customer in Germany
The popularity of Kia only increases these days and there is further proof of that with the high sales numbers of the automaker's European Cee'd C-segment hatchback. The Cee'd was the best-selling import (non-Skoda) car in the Czech Republic for October and was also the best-selling car in its class in Finland for the month of October.
The Cee'd was the top-selling imported C-segment car in the Czech Republic for the second time, having achieved the same in April. The brand managed to garner a 3.47% market share in the country, as Kia's total sales for October jumped 63%. Over a span of 10 months, Kia sales have increased 67% and slotted in the Top 10 Brands rank knocking out Fiat in the process.
In Finland, the Cee'd managed to gain enough sales last month to claim the no.1 position in its class. The Cee'd beat the Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Auris and the Ford Focus. The Cee'd captured a staggering 14.7% market share in the demanding C-segment category. Kia's overall market share in the country leaped 50% to an impressive 7.2%. The Cee'd has a 5-star EuroNCAP rating and since its market launch in December of 2006, the automaker has received over 100,000 orders for the car. The Cee'd family consists of the conventional five-door hatch, the five-door estate, and the three-door Pro-Cee'd which are built at Kia's first European plant in Zilina, Slovakia. The €1 billion facility also assembles the 2008 Sportage compact SUV. All Cee'd's and Sportages sold in Europe come with Kia's 7-year/100,000 mile warranty.

Citroen C4-Triomphe; European bound?
The Citroen C4-Triomphe wasn't intended for Europe but that is before we captured this prototype undergoing road testing in Southern France.
The C4-Triomphe is largely based off the extended platform of the C4 hatchback. The sedan first went on sale in China in late 2006 with expected sale figures of 30,000 units a year but it merely achieved 25,000 units. Earlier on this year, the car was announced to go on sale in South America later on this month.
Whilst a test mule was sighted undergoing cold-weather testing in Finland in 2005, Europeans were expecting it to go on sale in Europe....it looks like their wishes are about to come true.
We don't know why there is tape around the front headlamps but the little wires leading into the bonnet (check out top left hand corner of bonnet) means the mule is doing some engine and cooling testing.
Engines are likely to come from the C4 hatchback & coupé.
The C4-Triomphe could be revealed at the upcoming Geneva motorshow in March with sales starting in summer 2008. Pricing wise for the UK, it could start from around £12,500 for the entry level model going upto £20,000 for the flagship grade to rival the Volkswagen Jetta (Golf sedan).
Citroen could possibly keep the C4-Triomphe name in Europe otherwise it will be called the C4 sedan.

New Car: 2008 FIAT Croma facelift
The Nuova Croma, the Station Wagon interpreted by Fiat:
The Nuova Croma makes its debut, the Station Wagon as Fiat sees it, a car full of innovation and substance, with new styling and a more rational range. It can boast both second generation Multijet engines and a lavish array of comfort, safety and infotainment equipment. The Nuova Croma is a benchmark for its segment, with an amazingly roomy interior, and an excellent level of ‘well-being on board’ however long your journey is, thanks to equipment worthy of a flagship that is now the standard outfit, and above all for the original ‘styling’ formula inherited from the previous model – the ‘Comfort Wagon’ concept – that makes it, once more, the roomiest car in its segment. With its even more dynamic look, the Nuova Croma immediately communicates a new approach to the car. It was designed to meet the needs of European society, where there is a growing trend among ‘new families’ (young families with children) to pay more attention to substance, and to demand safety and reliability from the family car: all at an accessible price.
Which is why the new model is ideal for people who need space, practicality and low running costs during the week for professional reasons, and demand a good-looking, comfortable, safe station wagon for their free time, to that they can travel with the whole family in complete peace of mind.
Revamped dynamic exterior styling:
With its elegant, distinctive styling, the Nuova Croma is even more dynamic thanks to a number of styling changes introduced by the Fiat Style Centre. To start with, consistent with the Fiat ‘family feeling’ introduced with the Grande Punto and reiterated on the Bravo, the front of the Nuova Croma features original drop-shaped headlights with distinctive Italian styling, highlighted by a stylish burnished finish; the design of the front air inlet and the grille with its wide links and Crome Shadow painting, is also new. There is a new rear bumper, very similar to an air extractor, which gives the car a sportier look, and the same dynamism conveyed in the side view by the new light clusters, together with the wings, rear spoiler and new sideskirts. Last but not least, the model’s elegant look is underlined by the combination of polished black pillars with new chrome detailing on the window frames and rubbing strips.
The interior of the car has also received a number of styling changes that underline the typically Italian refinement (new cloth or leather upholstery for the seats and an original Wenghe-effect treatment of the mouldings) as well as a new steering wheel and a richer, more elegant instrument panel.
Class-beating access and roominess:
The Nuova Croma is available with one bodywork version, which is one of the roomiest in its class; 478 centimetres long, 177 wide, 160 tall, and with a wheelbase of 270 cm, measurements that translate into an extraordinary amount of space inside. The model’s distinguishing features are the generous amount of headroom for passengers, and the space between the seats (the best in its category), while the raised driving position guarantees excellent control over the road and better exterior visibility, even for rear passengers. Thanks to the flat floor and the raised front and rear H points, it is extremely easy to get in and out of the car. What is more, the new model has one of the largest glazed areas in its market bracket (3.254 m2), and guarantees excellent acoustic and vibrational comfort, thanks to painstaking analysis of the passenger compartment and specific suspension calibration.
Another strong point of the Nuova Croma is the modular luggage compartment with its loading volume of 500 litres that becomes 1,610 litres up to the roof with the rear seats folded down. The luggage compartment is fitted with a practical Cargo box system that exploits all the available space: a removable shelf the same size as the luggage compartment that creates a continuous floor, level with the bumper ledge, to simplify loading and unloading. It also acts as a cover for a lower storage area 16 centimetres high, where fragile or valuable items can be stowed away from prying eyes. The lid of the cargo box can also be stored on the bottom of the well to increase loading capacity.
Exclusive equipment and solutions to travel in maximum comfort:
The raised driving position and ergonomic controls make travelling in the Nuova Croma particularly enjoyable. And there are numerous exclusive accoutrements to choose from: a brand new DVD player, the Blue&Me™ system (also available in the NAV version), the ‘Interscope Sound System’ Hi-Fi and CONNECT Nav Plus. The Nuova Croma also proposes the best the market can offer in terms of automatic devices that help to reduce the fatigue of driving, for example Cruise Control, a rain sensor, parking sensor, tyre pressure sensor and Follow-me-home headlights that stay on for a few seconds. We should also mention the ‘adaptive cornering’ function of the front foglights, that are activated automatically with the dipped beams on the basis of the steering angle. And finally, to raise the level of comfort even higher, the Nuova Croma adopts a reliable, tried and tested suspension system, with MacPherson struts at the front and Multilink suspension at the rear, tyres designed specifically to enhance comfort and safety, and electro-hydraulic power steering that makes all manoeuvres more comfortable.
Powerful, elastic engines that respect the environment:
Original outside, spacious and quiet inside. The Nuova Croma is the Station Wagon from Fiat, designed for people with very different needs, taste and life styles, but who all share one thing: they want their car to be comfortable. And for people who also want exciting performance, the Croma offers the powerful 200 bhp 2.4 Multijet engine (combined with a 6-speed automatic sequential gearbox), which tops its class for specific power: 83 bhp/litre.The Nuova Croma comes with two sparkling petrol engines (140 bhp 1.8 16v and 147 bhp 2.2 16v, the latter not available in Italy) and three Multijet turbodiesels (120 or 150 bhp 1.9 and 200 bhp 2.4) which reiterate Fiat Group Automobiles’ superiority in the field of diesel engines. All the engines meet EU Stage 4 emission standards, and the diesel units are fitted with particulate filters. They are offered with 5 different gearboxes that exploit the engine performance in full; all the petrol engines are combined with 5-speed transmissions, with the option of sequential automatic transmission on the 2.2 16v, and all the diesel engines have 6-speed gearboxes (the sequential automatic unit is offered as an alternative on the 150 bhp 1.9 Multijet, and as the standard unit on the powerful 200 bhp 2.4 Multijet 20v).
Class-beating safety:
The Nuova Croma was designed and built to achieve the highest safety standards, and has been awarded the prestigious five-star NCAP rating that puts it at the top of its class, thanks to an array of sophisticated devices that are standard equipment on the model, starting from passive safety features such as: 2 ‘dual stage’ frontal airbags, 2 side airbags at the front, 2 curtain-bags and a knee-bag for the driver (rear sidebags are available on request).
The new Fiat Station Wagon behaves predictably at all times, thanks to the sophisticated electronic devices it incorporates to control dynamic behaviour: from braking to drive. They include ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) and, above all, ESP (Electronic Stability Program) which is standard throughout the range. The ESP on the Nuova Croma incorporates a number of additional features: ASR (Anti Slip Regulation) which limits drive wheel slippage when road grip is poor; MSR (Motor Schleppmoment Regelung) which intervenes if the driver changes down too abruptly, to return torque to the engine and prevent excessive dragging of the drive wheels; HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assistance), electro-hydraulic brake assistance, which automatically intervenes during panic braking; and finally, the Hill-holder that helps the driver on hill starts.
A broad, comprehensive range for a car of ‘substance’:
The Nuova Croma is a car of substance that comes in an extremely comprehensive range. Different solutions are offered on different markets, but they all offer the same value for money. In Italy, for example, the range includes a choice of 4 engines (the 2.2 petrol engine is not available), 5 outfits (Classic, Active, Dynamic, Emotion and Must), 10 bodywork colours, and 4 interior environments, available in a choice of cloth, Castiglio and two types of leather.
We must not forget that the Nuova Croma range offers every customer, no matter how demanding, a choice between different options and accessories which may underline the model’s practicality and versatility, or cater for the customer’s practical and emotional demands. The Nuova Croma is perfect not only for the modern family, but also for businesses and professionals. And as a result, Fiat Automobiles Financial Services proposes a range of purchasing solutions and use formulae aimed specifically at these customers.
New Car: 2009 Pontiac Vibe
The all-new 2009 Pontiac Vibe is a modern re-mix of a classic hit, infusing the functionality of a compact crossover with a bolder attitude of muscular styling, increased performance and tight handling. It arrives in dealer showrooms in early 2008.Adding a richer harmony to the tune, the popular all-wheel-drive and GT models return to the Vibe lineup. Regardless of the model, each Vibe offers a level of athletic design, boosted performance and everyday versatility uncommon in the price range.
“With the 2009 Vibe, we knew we wanted to take everything we liked about the original and push it to the next level - more power, more style, more versatility,” said Craig Bierley, Pontiac marketing director. “It has the interior room and cargo capability expected of a larger SUV, but with the precise handling characteristics you would expect from any Pontiac.”
The 2009 Vibe includes a number of all-new and enhanced features, including:
More powerful 1.8L base engine and a new, high-output 2.4L engine (optional on the base model, standard on the AWD and GT)
Athletic exterior styling with a faster windshield, all-new sheet metal and lighting elements Refreshed, driver-focused interior styling with more harmonious integration of the controls Standard electronic vehicle stability control and tire pressure monitoring systems
Six standard air bags
Enhanced functionality with integrated cargo management system and fold-flat front seat
Engine performance:
Packing more off-the-line power than ever before, the ’09 Vibe delivers the type of responsive performance needed to safely navigate those unexpected everyday driving situations. A 132-horsepower (98 kW) 1.8L DOHC four-cylinder is standard on base models and delivers 128 lb.-ft. (174 Nm) of torque. The engine benefits from dual variable valve timing, optimizing both performance and efficiency, and is matched to a standard five-speed manual transmission or optional four-speed automatic.
Customers desiring higher performance can opt for the larger, 2.4L DOHC engine with 158 horsepower (118 kW) and 162 lb.-ft. (224 Nm) of torque. The 2.4L engine is standard on AWD and GT models, and is optional on the base model.A four-speed automatic transmission is standard on the AWD. Customers of the 2.4L-equipped base or GT models can choose between a standard five-speed manual transmission or a new, five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission featuring Driver Shift Control (DSC), which delivers a great combination of performance, fuel economy and smoothness. With DSC, the driver can manually select gears via tap up/tap down controls.
Fuel economy:
With the 1.8L engine and the standard manual transmission, EPA fuel economy is estimated at 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway; with the automatic, fuel economy is estimated at 25 in the city and 31 on the highway.
The 2.4L engine on the GT is estimated at 21 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway with the manual transmission and 21 city/29 highway with the five-speed automatic. On the AWD model, the 2.4L/four-speed automatic combination delivers an estimated 20 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway.
Ride and handling:
Driving dynamics of the new Vibe have been refined to deliver a responsive driving experience, with a special focus on reduced noise, vibration and harshness. An array of chassis control systems enhances ride and handling, as well as safety.
The Vibe has a body-integral structure with underbody rails running from front to rear, giving the structure exceptional strength and a strong foundation on which to anchor the suspension systems. All models employ a MacPherson-strut front suspension design. The base model has a torsion-beam rear suspension that is revised for a more comfortable ride, while the AWD and GT models use a multi-link independent rear suspension for even sharper responses and enhanced driving control.
Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS are standard on all models, as is electronic stability control and traction control. Steering control is augmented with an electric power steering system, providing variable-effort performance and (because there is no engine-driven power steering pump) enhanced fuel economy.
Exterior design:
The Vibe has the looks to back up its performance. With a lean, athletic form, the Vibe’s new exterior exemplifies the future of Pontiac’s design - clean, purposeful shapes and a decidedly sophisticated aesthetic. The new Vibe’s appearance melds the space-enabling design of a small SUV with a forward-looking profile, furthering the groundbreaking design pioneered by the original Vibe, launched in 2002.
All of the sheet metal is new, with minimal gaps that reinforce the Vibe’s tailored appearance. A faster windshield angle contributes to the sleeker look, while large wheels and minimal overhangs give the vehicle an aggressive, firmly planted stance.“The new Vibe’s design is sporty yet completely functional,” said Ron Aselton, chief designer. “Clean lines, minimal overhangs and wheels pushed to the corners give the vehicle a muscular stance.”
Vibe’s three models - base, AWD and GT - are distinguished from one another with unique styling cues. For example, the AWD features a standard roof rack perfect for outdoor activities. The GT has its own front fascia - with larger fog lamps and lower-fascia air intake - rocker moldings, roof spoiler and a bright exhaust tip. All models offer distinctive wheel options.
Interior design and features:
Like the exterior, the ’09 Vibe’s interior is all-new and has a driver-focused cockpit design more common to sports cars. The controls and gauges were redesigned for easier use, but retain a performance-oriented look and feel; and the interior quality and craftsmanship are reflected in class-leading gap/flush tolerances.
Interior material refinement is also stepped up a notch in the new Vibe, with a combination of low-gloss materials, varied grains on the instrument panel and other trim components, and satin-metal accents. New, knit-fabric seating surfaces are durable and have a premium look, while GT models are enhanced with standard leather-trimmed seats, three-spoke steering wheel and shift knob. Seating for five is standard on all models.
The Vibe’s interior also is loaded with standard amenities not typically found in other vehicles in the segment, including a steering column with telescoping/rake adjustability; a 115-volt, three-prong auxiliary power outlet, six-way adjustable driver’s seat and front active headrests.
Audio systems:
All Vibe models come with an AM/FM radio with CD and XM Satellite Radio. The XM band is integrated for seamless switching between all three signal bands. An auxiliary audio input jack is standard, too, allowing the MP3 players and other portable devices to play through the Vibe’s speakers.
A four-speaker sound system is standard on Vibe base and AWD models. True audiophiles can step up to a premium Monsoon™ 320-watt audio system, including MP3 capability and seven-speaker sound. The Monsoon system is standard on GT models and available on base and AWD as part of the Sun and Sound package.
Cargo versatility:
Vibe’s roomy interior provides generous storage space for all kinds of stuff, starting with a 60/40-split rear seat that folds flat to create 49.4 cubic feet (1,399 L) behind the front seats. Rubberized cargo floor strips help prevent items from sliding. Additional storage solutions are offered from an oversized glove box, an overhead console, a dual-tier center console and other integrated cubby holes located throughout the vehicle. A rear cargo compartment storage organizer is standard on all models equipped with a 2.4L engine (optional with the 1.8L engine) and provides an almost unlimited number of cargo solutions, thanks to a multitude of hooks and net-divided compartments. It also conveniently folds into the floor when not in use. Vibes equipped with the 2.4L engine also come with a fold-flat front passenger seat that expands the interior’s storage versatility - for times when you need to haul a ladder, small kayak or other long items.
Wheels and tires:
Sixteen-inch wheels and touring tires are standard on base and AWD models. Seventeen-inch aluminum wheels are also available on these models, featuring a bright machine finish on the base model and chrome-clad finish on the AWD. The Vibe GT comes standard with 18-inch bright machine finish aluminum wheels and 215/45-series all-season performance tires.
Safety:
The new Vibe was designed from the outset to be one of the segment’s safest vehicles, with a comprehensive system of design and technology features that help protect occupants before, during and after a crash event.
Standard features include:
StabiliTrak electronic vehicle stability system
Tire pressure monitoring system
Dual-stage frontal air bags with a passenger sensing system
Head curtain side air bags
Side thorax air bags for the front passengers
Active head restraints
Three-point safety belts in all seating positions
Front safety belt retractors
Rear-seat LATCH child safety seat provisions in all three seating positions
OnStar:
The standard OnStar system’s digital equipment includes enhanced hands-free voice recognition capabilities, including more intuitive continuous digit dialing and improved voice recognition accuracy. Using the GPS satellite network and wireless technology, OnStar features core safety services and OnStar Hands-Free Calling, which allows drivers to make and receive voice-activated phone calls.
Vibe history:
Introduced in 2002 as a ’03 model, the Pontiac Vibe was an immediate hit with customers who sought a contemporary, roomy utility vehicle that was also efficient. Sales topped 39,000 in that abbreviated first-year and continued to climb in the years after - reaching more than 64,000 in 2005. By the end of calendar-year 2007, total Vibe sales will number approximately 300,000.
Chrysler Grand Voyager pricing announced (UK)
Chrysler is hoping to reinvigorate sales of its large MPV, the Grand Voyager, with this all-new incarnation, which goes on sale in the UK in February 2008.
Once the vehicle of choice for aspiration large families and semi-plush cab firms, Chrysler’s big MPV has been hit by more luxurious SUVs and, more crucially, increased flexibility and practicality offered by newer, smaller models.
Once the vehicle of choice for aspiration large families and semi-plush cab firms, Chrysler’s big MPV has been hit by more luxurious SUVs and, more crucially, increased flexibility and practicality offered by newer, smaller models.
The new model – based on an all-new platform – is designed to buck the trend. In particular, the GV now has two seating systems available: ‘Stow ‘n’ Go’, which allows the rear two rows to be hidden in the floor, and ‘Swivel ‘n’ Go’, which features a second row than can turn 180 degrees, floor storage bins and a removable table between the second and third rows.
The kit list has been tweaked too; new features include heated seats in the first two rows, a removable torch in the rear quarter panel, movable LED reading lamps and three-zone climate control. The options list also includes a dual-DVD system with twin screens, and Chrysler’s MyGIG hard disk-based audio player.
Chrysler has clearly been focusing on practicality, because the Grand Voyager’s mechanicals sound pretty ordinary. It’s only available with a six-speed automatic gearbox, and the engine of choice (one of only two available) will be a 2.8-litre turbodiesel unit, producing 161bhp and 266lb ft of torque.
The top-of-the-range Limited model is also available with a 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine, for the same £32,995 price as the diesel version. But with only 190bhp and 230lb ft on tap, its sales figures might make its model name rather too apt for its own good.
Prices start from the same level as the outgoing model, which means you have to pay £25,995 for the base model.
New Car: 2009 Hyundai Sonata facelift
Do not change what is not broken. Hyundai designers took his saying to heart for the mid-cycle facelift for the best selling sedan on the Korean peninsula. The bumper, headlamps and radiator grille received some minor touch-ups, while new alloy wheels were added and the waistline molding, rear bumper and taillight clusters were adjusted to resemble the front design more than before.
More drastic changes are found under the hood, as the Sonata Transform is the first model to receive the second generation Theta engine. The Theta II engine delivers more horsepower and improves acceleration while maintaining fuel economy, better yet it even improves mileage and lowers emissions. The performance boost has been attained through the addition of a variable induction system and a variable valve timing system.
The interior has been redesigned to create a more upscale feeling through a new crash pad, new floor console and door trim. The new Sonata is on sale now in Korea, export models (which may differ slightly from Korean models) will start shipping early 2008. The car won't launch in the UK due to excess stock of the pre-facelift model.
2009 Hyundai Coupé/Tiburon; undisguised
We have posted today these amazing shots of the all-new Hyundai rear-wheel-drive sports coupe. Snapped during a market research event, the Hyundai is standing next to its target competitor, the Ford Mustang. In an effort to minimize preconceived biases, both vehicles are painted exactly the same color as well as having all emblems covered. Additionally, participants are given a questionnaire about the two vehicles regarding their impressions in which they refer to the vehicles by a given letter. As seen in these photos, the Hyundai is wearing a sign on the front bumper with the letter F.
Although spy photos taken from research clinics are nothing new, these are the clearest photos we have seen from such an event. Normally, the specially selected participants of these market research events are obviously prohibited to have cameras. But judging by the vantage point of the photos it seems the spy photographer may have been an insider with access to the rest of the facility allowing a view from above the curtains.
The presence of the Mustang as the target competitor confirms the sports coupe will receive a V8 engine (the 4.6-liter from the Genesis) as previously reported. Codenamed BK, but often referred to as the Hyundai Mustang by Hyundai insiders, the sports coupe replaces the Tiburon but will most likely be given a new name since it has nothing in common with its predecessor as well as emphasizing a high performance rear-wheel-drive nature. The Hyundai sports coupe which is based on the BH/Genesis platform will first arrive in Asia in late 2008 or 2009, and arrive in the U.S. for the 2010 model year. A convertible version is expected to follow.
According to a participant of the focus group, two engines mentioned were a 2.0-liter trubo with 215hp and 217 ft-lbs of torque priced at $19,000 and a 3.8-liter V6 with 300hp and 280 ft-lbs of torque starting at $25,900. There was no mention of a V8 engine but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. However, the focus group was conducted in June of this year which leaves plenty of time for changes. Other features mentioned include Ipod integration in center console, bluetooth function through head unit, sunroof, mirror mounted LED turn signals and limited slip.
FIAT 500 pricing announced (UK)
Fiat Group Automobiles UK Ltd has just announced prices of the eagerly-awaited new Fiat 500, which goes on sale here in January.
With a starting price of just £7,900 OTR, the new Fiat 500 represents outstanding value for money and positions the car well below its benchmark rivals. At the top end of the range, a highly specified version with a larger engine costs only £10,700 – an OTR price that includes air conditioning and alloy wheels as standard.
Available with a choice of three frugal, ultra-low emissions, Euro 5-ready engines: 69 bhp 1.2-litre and 100 bhp 1.4-litre petrol, or 75 bhp 1.3-litre MultiJet turbodiesel, the new Fiat 500 can be ordered in three different trim levels – Pop, Sport and Lounge.
Standard equipment in the entry-level Pop includes ABS anti-lock brakes with EBD, driver, passenger, side and driver’s knee airbags, radio/CD/MP3 player, power steering, electric mirrors, colour coded bumpers and chrome-plated door handles. The extensive options list includes ESP, glass sunroof, metallic paint and parking sensors.Sport and Lounge versions start at £9,300, while specifying a larger engine in any trim level adds £1,400. Standard equipment on both Sport and Lounge versions includes the Blue & MeTM hands-free media system, air conditioning and 15” alloy wheels. Sport specification includes a rear roof spoiler, fog lights, sports interior and dark tinted rear windows, while Lounge trim includes a split, folding rear seat and fixed glass roof.
The simple pricing structure means that any combination of car is possible – customers simply start with a 1.2 Pop and add £1,400 for a more powerful engine, £1,400 for a higher trim level, or £2,800 for any combination of both. A huge list of style options – created specifically to offer customers wide-ranging opportunities for personalising the interior and exterior of their vehicles – is also available. “There has been widespread speculation about Fiat 500 prices this year and we’re delighted now to be able to reveal them,” says Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.
“We wanted to create a classless car for everyone, that was not just about being a well-known badge, and with this pricing structure I believe we have introduced a model to the UK that will be within the reach of a wide range of customers.”The Fiat 500 goes on sale through Fiat’s 162-strong UK dealer network in January 2008.

Mystery Car: Mini Clubman S mule
Our team of spy photographers captured this unusual Mini Clubman S mule in Germany.
Before the 2007 Mini came out, there was a similar Mini Cooper S hatchback test mule wearing the exact same wheels which was sighted in England back in 2000.
We heard rumors that Mini could be testing a supercharged version of the "S" because the front lower air intake is longer and taller compared to the regular Clubman S .There are pieces black tape around the corners of the front bumper and wheel arches. Also there is a little apron located on the bottom of the front bumper.
So could Mini be testing a Cooper/Clubman S supercharged? Its possible and if it is, expect to see it on sale in late 2008/early 2009.
